Ashley was born and raised in Olympia, Washington and moved to Boise, Idaho in 2011. Ashley graduated in 2009 from Central Washington University with a degree in "Law and Justice" and "Sociology." Ashley obtained her master's degree in Legal Research and Writing in 2011. Ashley's law career began in 2011 when she was invited to be one of Concordia University School of Law's inaugural class. Ashley began working at MBBD, PLLC in 2015 and became partner of Breen, Ball & Marelius in 2021.
Ashley's primary expertise is family law including divorce, child custody, civil protection orders, etc. Ashley also spends substantial time assisting victims of domestic violence inside and outside of the courtroom. Ashley is a member of ITLA's Board of Directors and regularly assists the community through ITLA Street Law Clinic.
Ashley's primary passion is animal advocacy, specifically, bully breed dogs. Ashley has been involved with Boise Bully Breed Rescue since 2011 and frequently educates the community on responsible pet ownership and advocates against breed-specific legislation and the inhumane activity of dog fighting.
