Sean Breen grew up in Idaho and is a graduate of both Idaho State University and the University of Idaho. Sean is retired from the United States Army having served our country for over 23 years. Sean is an experienced trial attorney who began his practice in 1994 after clerking at the U.S. Department of Justice, Minnesota Attorney General's Office and the U.S. Department of Energy.
Sean now primarily practices in domestic relations (or family law) but also handles general legal matters (e.g. contracts, non-compete agreements, business formation, landlord tenant, probate, employment, personal injury, workers comp, etc.). Sean has litigated hundreds of civil trials in southern Idaho involving a number of different legal matters.
Sean and his wife, Lora (who is also a senior Army officer and an attorney) helped co-found Anser Charter School; Idaho's first service-oriented and community-based K-8 public charter school. They spent several years helping the school plan and organize the purchase and remodel of the school's current facilities. Sean also participates in numerous other service-oriented activities including the Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers (IALL), Recreation Unlimited (Bogus Basin's adaptive ski program), and Boise's downtown YMCA. He also volunteers his time through coaching soccer, baseball, tennis and other youth sports programs. Sean spends many summer afternoons rafting Idaho's wild and scenic rivers in the summer and skiing Idaho's mountains in the winter.

Representation largely focuses on domestic relations and family law matters (e.g. divorce, child custody, support, adoption, guardianship). Also conducts legal reviews and litigates the validity non-competition agreements, represents injured workers and other persons injured by the negligence of others.
